Link building services that earn authority, not inventory
Links are still how machines decide who to trust — classic search and AI engines alike. On a RankCited plan we earn yours from real publications with real readers, one editorial placement at a time. You set the goals; we pick the targets, pitch, and place.
No spammy placements. Ever. Every publisher hand-vetted by us.
What makes a link worth having?
A link is worth having when the page carrying it has an audience, an editor, and a reason to mention you. That single test filters out most of what gets sold as link building — directories nobody reads, networks built for search engines, placements on sites with a thousand niches and no readers.
That test is the whole point of our publisher network. Publishers apply, we vet them by hand — audience, editorial history, outbound-link hygiene, topical focus — and most don't get in. Nothing is browsable and nothing is sold à la carte: when your plan calls for a link, our agents pick the vetted publication whose context matches your page, and we handle the rest. What's left is coverage that moves rankings because it would be worth having even if links carried no SEO value at all.
Want a link placed inside an existing, already-ranking article instead of a new piece? That's our link insertion work type. For coverage that earns links and AI citations together, see digital PR.
What you get
Hand-vetted publishers
Every site in our network passed a human review of audience, editorial standards, and link hygiene. You see the shape of each target — niche, authority, traffic, AI-citation profile — and the live URL once it's published.
Content written to be read
Placements arrive inside articles a human would finish: sourced, specific, on-topic. Editors keep them live because readers don't bounce off them.
Full transparency, zero admin
Every link is logged in your dashboard with the live URL and a permanent record. If a link drops, we know before you do — and we chase it. No orders to place, no publishers to chase, no disputes to file.
The numbers behind the discipline
pages get no organic traffic from Google — and lack of referring links is a leading reason (Ahrefs study of over a billion pages)
more referring links pointing at the average #1 result than at positions 2-10 (Backlinko SERP analysis)
One thing the industry keeps re-learning: ten mentions from ten independent publications beat a hundred from one network. Engines got very good at telling the difference. Our vetting exists so you never have to think about it.
Frequently asked questions
Do you sell backlinks?
No. We arrange editorial coverage on vetted publications, and links exist inside that coverage the way they exist inside any real article — in context, where they help the reader. Sponsored placements are disclosed per the publisher's policy. Anything that works like a link vending machine gets both sides penalized, so we don't operate one.
How do you vet publishers?
A human reviews each applicant site: real audience and traffic sources, editorial history, how many niches it tries to cover (too many is a red flag), outbound-link patterns, and whether its existing articles would survive an editor. Most applicants are rejected. Metrics are re-checked on a rolling basis and sites that decay get removed.
How many links do we need?
Fewer, better-placed ones than most plans assume. What moves rankings is independent publications mentioning you — variety of sources, not volume from one. Your free report tells you the honest number for your targets; sometimes it is smaller than what you were about to buy elsewhere.
Is this safe for our domain?
The practices that get sites penalized — networks, farms, undisclosed schemes, irrelevant placements at volume — are exactly what the vetting filters out. Editorial coverage on real publications is how brands have built authority since before search engines existed. That is the only inventory here.
What does it cost?
Links are part of a monthly plan, not sold one at a time. Each tier is a fixed amount of placement work per month, priced openly — no bundles hiding weak sites inside, no per-publisher invoices. Start with the free report and we'll tell you what your site actually needs before you spend anything.
